Saint Dorothy

I must admit I've cheated a bit today and found a couple of
pictures I did a while ago. I did make time to visit a few friend's blogs this
morning so it was great to catch up a bit.

At last I've been to see Freddie in hospital. I was taken last night and was so pleased to see him. I knew by his face how pleased he was to see me. He looks very well in himself as he's had a good rest.
There are six men in his little ward and they are all very friendly and jokey.
So now I'm just waiting to see if the infections have cleared enough to operate, maybe today, maybe tomorrow. Talk about having patience!
My granddaughter should be able to take me on Thursday when she has time off.

I am almost crawling about when not in my wheelchair. Still Corey and I are managing 'as well as can be expected' as they say!!
Gotta keep smiling....!!

So glad you got to see Freddie, June. I know he misses you very much, even if he has the other 5 guys to entertain him. Your St. Dorothy is gorgeous. Is there a saint named Dorothy? ? That's my first name.

Oh, wonderful that you got to see Freddie. And I'm glad he's feeling rested and is in a great ward. I'll be continuing to pray for his infection to heal so that they can do the surgery they need to do.

And, as for you, June, slow is OKAY!!! Remember that ol' tortoise!!

I hope it won't be too much longer until Freddie can be home.

Love,
Patti
