PAIN

I hide the the pain behind the smile on my face

The unbearable pain

I keep deep inside

The horrible, strong feelings

Eating through my flesh

The unforgettable pain

Pain

The pain is so strong

It’s like taking a knife

Stabbing and twisting it

Into my flesh

Pain

Fighting the pain

The tears

The battle to keep a smile on my face

Pain

Killing me

Pain

I found this poem today and it spoke to me. This is how I am every day. Some days much harder than others. Today is a bad day. I can hardly move for pain.
'They' say 'Love your pain'........I've tried that........I've tried most things.........
Living with it is hard but I try.........I try..........I try to keep a smile on my face.....in public anyway.....
