If this is her back, I wonder what the front looks like?
I also wonder what all these tattoos will look like when
she is old and everything is wrinkled or sagging?
Good luck to her but I couldn't imagine having that
done to my body.
It seems it's all the fashion nowadays with young people.
Who starts these crazes?

No I don't but my daughter has some small ones but I agree although I have thought I might like it, two things have stopped me - one is the getting old as you say, the other is that I am a person of change. I love to find new things all the time, whether that be clothes, my house, my art, anything at all and I think I would regret having to live with something I couldn't change when I got fed up with it. But that's me!!!!!

I've thought about this a lot. Both my adult daughters (25 &22) have tattoos. One designed all that she wears (they are pretty cool too). I agree about what happens when they get older. My dad (77) has a geisha tat on his forearm and it's just a colorful blob now. I can't imagine what my babies will look like when they're in their 50's/60's...
Their whole generation seem to use tats as a way of identifying with said generation. Along with piercings (sp?)... sigh
As for me, I love tattoos, but I don't want anything permanent. I love and do a lot of henna/mehandhi!

All I can think of is ouch, ouch, ouch!
We were just talking about that this morning. It is beautiful but sad to think of the long term repercussions. My dad was covered in tattoos before it was in fashion. He said he got them all when he was at sea and drunk in port. I can tell that she has a lot of work in progress so just wait in a few months for another eye opener. too bad she didn't invest all that money into property.

None for me, June, but my 29-year old son has his name in Chinese tattooed (large) on his arm. He wanted a memento of the year he spent living and working in China. He told us about the tatoo after the fact. (My reaction: If he wanted a memento, couldn't he have had it printed on a piece of paper and hung it on the wall????)
I hate tattoos!!! And I also hate trendy things, and doing things just because everyone else is doing them.
Not too long ago, it was just men that had tattoos, and usually they were sailor men. Nowadays, they appear on professional men and women of all ages. I think it's gross. Plus, I'm not at all convinced that there won't be long-term safety concerns with them.
That said, I don't look down on those that have tattoos. They are as much worth respecting as the next person.

I'm sorry but this type of art is not for me. I can't imagine what the kids will think of next. And ten years from now it may not be so beautiful.
UGH, I don't think they are becoming at all!
Oh my goodness. Young people don't think about getting old, do they? At 65 years old...I can just imagine what this will look like!
