I can hardly believe it is two years today I lost my Mum.
Since I held her hand and whispered my Goodbyes....
The photograph above has always been my favourite.
It hung in a frame above my Nan's big black piano and
I can see it there now in my mind's eye.
I loved it from when I was a little girl and
my Mum told me she was wearing a pale blue satin dress.
She was about 18 or 19 in this picture.
So here we are again in the longest day. Can you believe
the evenings will soon start to get darker?
Where does the time go....?

Beautiful photo, June. How pretty and stylish she was *hugs*
Really the longest day today? It feels like every day is a long one sometimes, with this rain. I blame Wimbledon
She is so pretty June
It is a good thing we have memories of our Mothers to hold on to
What a beautiful photo and I love how you have framed it.
It's lovely to have those special photos of our Mums to reflect back on.
Thankyou for your lovely comment today.
Have a good day.

Isn't it wonderful for the technology that enables us to have photographs of our loved ones!! I have a few favorite photos of my grandparents, and I love to display them.
The longest day...there is a downside to that for me. It means darker, colder days will be here again before you know it. Seems like spring just arrived 2 days ago, and in less than 3 months, it's going to be cold again. That doesn't work for me!!
Have a great day.
Love,
Patti
