I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I have two wonderful children and their better halves! Two grandchildren, ditto, and three beautiful great grandchildren.
I am very disabled and spend most of my time in a wheelchair in front of this computer. I'd fade away without it. It's my contact with my friends and the great world wide web!

A mother wondering if her children will behave if her husband passed away. MMM I love to dream up the meaning of art. Hugs, Kim
To me it says the children have been evacuated and her husband is away defending his country. The mother is so missing them all.
This is my favorite of today's offerings, June. I'm not much into skulls, pierced or otherwise, but i can assure you that you are correct. His own mother would not recognize him.
This piece with the mother and children is very beautiful. I think dad has sailed off somewhere to make his fortune and will send for mom and kids when he has a way to do it. On the other hand, my first thought was what Netty said: that he is away defending his country.
Her husband hasn't returned from the sea, and she wonders how she will ever provide for her family. But provide she will, because she's a woman, hear her roar!
