My 100 Themes
The Digital Whispers Challenge
This is me!
I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I have two wonderful children and their better halves! Two grandchildren, ditto, and three beautiful great grandchildren.
I am very disabled and spend most of my time in a wheelchair in front of this computer. I'd fade away without it. It's my contact with my friends and the great world wide web!
I am surrounded with most of my family who are very supportive, caring and loving. I am indeed blessed.
Most of you know I cannot leave the house without my buggy as I cannot walk far. Here is Algie taking his 'walk' with me yesterday. He rides on the footplate if there is a lot of traffic or if he gets tired. otherwise he runs beside me.
We were on our way to the quayside to share a 'walk' with the family. He is so disappointed when it is wet and we cannot go out.
I can't seem to get my head around anything these days. I hardly know what day it is. Freddie is going into respite today for a week so mixed feelings all round. So sorry if I don't get around to commenting on you all.
Here's my Roses picture for Three Muses this week.
My son was a Police diver. He had some awful, awful jobs. We have so much water in Norfolk with the Broads there are often accidents andhe has retrieved many bodies from the dangerous reed filled waterways.
In the top picture he is waiting to be hosed down after coming out of a slurry tank.
Life is far from easy these days. Last night I had to call on two neighbours, Guy and Tony to help me get Freddie off the floor again. They even helped me to get him to bed and undressed. Wonderful neighbours! Thank you.
And a couple of pictures recently made.
I love the New Look and fashion from the 50's.
And of course Paris has always been an icon for fashion...
And above is my favourite vintage style....smile....
A lovely challenge this week from the Three Muses...Autumn Colours.
It's almost upon us, with it's beautiful array of colours and the last
whispered warmth of summer.
So this is what came into my mind this week.
Thank you for your visit.
It's been a very stressful time this last few weeks, with Freddie being virtually blind But he has had an operation on his eye and already can see a wee bit. Early days but we're hopeful. Unfortunately he has lost still more strength in his legs which I find even more of a worry. The consequences don't bear thinking about.........
