I've been so busy since Freddie came home, trying to fit
everything in, I've only caught up with Challenges.
Nothing new for here yet!
So this is Nina revisitted, from last October.
Perhaps you missed her before.
What a morning! I let Freddie have a lie in which put me a bit behind by the time I'd done his breakfast.
So off I went to pick up my ladies for Chapel. I had heard a slight rattle under the car, well this morning I thought the exhaust was ready to drop off. The car seemed to shake with the noise. Half way there I heard a clunk then silence. I looked back in the mirror and saw something lying in the road.
I managed to walk back with my crutches along the road to see what it was. Was it a Coke can can caught up underneath?
No, but it was definitely a metal cover of some sort from under the car, about 10 inches square. All bent and rusted. So after chapel I took the ladies home and then went on to the garage. Brian, part owner, looks after me and my old car wonderfully well. So I showed him and 'Do I need a new one?' and 'What is it?' It's a heat cover of some sort, No I don't need a new one, he grabbed the rusted puiece of metal and tossed it into his bin! 'Don't think about it any more, not necessary!'
By the time I got home I was feeling decidedly shaky, went to sit down and sort of missed and slipped slowly to the floor!
It's the getting up again that's the trouble. I'll spare you the details of that! LOL! .........

Oh goodness and I thought I was having a week. Caught a horrible earache, cold something with fever then went this am to take son to school, car wont start...OH MY...finally did! Hubbie thinks car may need a new battery. Have a great day. Hugs, Kim
I didn't mean to laugh, but I did.
Several things...first of all, your Nina creation is gorgeous. What a beautiful lady she is, and you've created a beautiful picture with her.
Next, I'm glad Freddie's home. I hope he's home for good and that he won't develop any more infections. I hope his spirits are staying up. It has to be quite discouraging being in and out of the hospital so much.
Next, I'm glad you have a great car mechanic, one that you can trust.
Finally, your fall...no bruises or sprains or anything, I hope. Sounds like you deserve a time to just relax and kick your heels up.
Love and hugs,
Patti
OH JUNE! Please take care of yourself. Love to you and Freddie
