Under lock and key..

I made this digital collage some time ago.
Although I'm nowhere near as glamorous as these beauties I sometimes feel
like them I'm under lock and key as I'm so restricted as to where I can go.
We used to visit nearby towns for a day out, browsing the shops etc.
and Freddie used to push my wheelchair.
Now he needs a wheelchair himself.....Ho Hum!.....

This sure is a beautiful piece, June. But, oh my gosh, I know this must be so difficult for you right now....I just pray that things will improve and that Freddie will be recuperating quickly. Sending love and hugs your way,
Cindy

Well I must say, that little girl photo of you is every bit as glamourous as those girls. I LOVE that photo of you! What a beautiful little girl you were!! (And a lovely mature woman too!!).

I'm so sorry that you are so restricted these days. I guess that makes the internet a real lifesaver for you. You can go anywhere in the world, without ever leaving your house, right?

I was thinking of you an hour or so ago. Do you watch that British show, Downton Abbey? My daughter has me hooked on it. The second season begins tonight...in Britain! We Americans have to wait until January to catch it. So, that got me to wondering if you watched that show.

While I love being an American, the bulk of my heritage is British Isles, and it's shows like that that make me wish they had never emigrated. There's something SO beautiful and cultured about the British!!

Have a great day. My best wishes to Freddie.

Love,
Patti

Yes, dear Patti. I watched Downton Abbey last night. I watched the first series too and both my daughter and I love it!

Unfortunately, Great Britrain is no longer elegant and cultured. In the larger cities and even smaller towns, yob culture has taken over, with riots. fights and destroying property.
I am so lucky where I live as it is still relatively peaceful but my son was on duty Saturday night in a small town nearby and they absolutely trashed the place. Fights with 40 or so in the crowd and we are so short of police there's not much they can do. Police officers who have been on the force 30 years have never seen anything like it. And the same thing is happening all over.
I am quite fearful of the future if nothing is done to stop it.

I'll get off my soapbox now!!
Love and Hugs
