Challenge..Nick Bantock inspired..

The Challenge this week on Digitalmania on Flickr was to make
some Mail Art in the style of Nick Bantock.
So here is what I made.
I think the address would have to be written on the backs of the envelopes!

Happy Friday everyone! xx

These are fantastic. I love post cards and adore mail art.
It is so fun to receive a piece of mail art in the mail :)

Hi Junie, here I come slinking in like a dog with its tail between its legs--I haven't visited in soooo long--but, I have been thinking about you and Freddie, I hope he is setting records--? As I know you are. Well--I love Nick Bantock!!! I have everything he has ever published, including "The Artful Dodger", his artistic biography. I believe in centuries to come, NB will be revered the way we revere medieval manuscript artists now!

And, I find your work in his vein a completely suitable hommage! I have been absent from the online altered art scene for many, many months, but I will follow some links for this one!

Your lost soul of a friend,

Diane

Envelopes with stamps on them? Nearly unheard of in this email world we live in. But I think there is nothing quite like a REAL card you pull from the mailbox.

Hugs,

Another "wow!" They are all wonderful! I have 7 Nick Bantock books and love his work. I hosted a swap one time where we each created a page for a chunky book in the style of Nick Bantock. It is one of my favorite chunky books. I need to head over to Digitalmania and get in on this one.
