I am honoured to be the Host for this weeks Challenge on Take a Word. I chose Faces. We all use faces in our work, either as a single feature or parts of a collage. The top picture I used a Fractal image from Google as a background and I thought all the ovals called for faces and I used the same one over and over, again from Google. I liked the finished result. A bit different for me.
The second piece is a typical collage and the face I photographed from one I have hanging in the hall. It is handpainted on an oval bevelled porcelain plaque. I did this almost 20 years ago but I still love her! I lost count of how many times she was fired.
I've added this one which was an altered photo I made. You can see the original photo in the bottom corner.
So just have a play with your faces, young or old or whatever.
I am looking forward to seeing all the work you make.
