I found this charming photograph of the little girl while browsing the internet.
It was badly damaged. I converted it to black and white and fiddled with it as much as I could and then hand painted her, so she did come up a bit brighter. I felt she deserved to be seen again and made a lovely photo.
Well I saw Freddie last night and actually was there while they redressed his foot so I could ask questions.Apparently the infection had spread to the ball of his foot from the gangrenous toe. The infection has been controlled and he is now on oral anti-b's. There is yet another consultation today as to whether to leave the toe to fall off or remove it.
As it is I can't see him coming home yet awhile. He still hasn't been walking and I should imagine his legs are very weak. Apart from all that, he is well but totally fed up.
oh hun so sorry to hear poor freddie must be really awful for both of you just hope things improve soon for you.
As for your creation hun its really stunning love that image and the way you have converted the photo hugs cherylxxx

Poor freddie hope he gets better soon. Love your art with that little girl
What a beautiful photo you have created, June. She's the picture of contentment, isn't she?
Sending love and prayers to Freddie.
Love and hugs to you as well,
It's awesome what you did here! I've been to Dezinaworld and seen some of your art on display, they are great!
Freddie is going through so much, I'm so sorry! My prayers are with you both.
I'm so sorry, June, to hear what Freddie is going through. And I know it is hard on you, too. I will pray for you both.
This picture is lovely...you are so talented!
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments and your thoughts and prayers.
Believe me it helps me so much.
I think the little girl is reading about how Freddie finally gets better and then comes home. Even the birds like that story!
