Nellie the Elephant..

Nellie the elephant packed her trunk and trundled off to the circus,
And off she went etc. etc.

Just for fun, another litle 'stepping out' picture.

* * * * *

I went to see Freddie last night and he's looking pretty perky.
He was dehydrated through having no fluids waiting to go for the op. so was drinking plenty of squash. His pacemaker was fine but his heart rate was up a bit but I think it's
settled today. He was awake during the op having had an Epidural.
He is still on morphine today but I guess that'll be weaned off.
So hopefully, everything will be OK if they've caught all the infection.

I'm now off to the dentist as I had a crown fall out the other day.

Thank you all for your kind messages which
I've relayed to him. xx

June, so sorry to read Freddie had more surgery; hopefully, he will recover quickly, infection gone entirely and home again soon.

Hugs,
Carolyn

Thank goodness the infection was in his toes instead of his nose!

(I know the situation isn't funny, but I think my continuing sleeplessness is catching up with me.)

P S - it was the elephant that made me think of a nose. I do hope she has a good time at the circus!

I'm a day late on reading this, so I hope Freddie is continuing to improve.

Sorry to hear about your crown falling out. Dentists are absolutely not my cup of tea. Want to hear a funny story. About 5 years ago, some friends of ours went to the Coast, and they brought us back a huge bag of salt water taffy. So, we got like 15 pounds of taffy for free. However, my husband ended up pulling a crown off with it...it was that sticky. So that free bag of taffy ended up costing us about $700!!

Have a wonderful evening,
Patti
