I could have used wild ducks here on the pond, or dolly birds
dressed up, or the birdwatchers that come here in their hundreds
but no.
I have made this picture several times before, using different birds,
different faces but always the same words.
I find them beautiful and to me they mean Hope,
which is something we all desperately need.

June, this is a beautiful piece, both image and words with the translucent face in the foreground and the birds giving the whole piece depth. Very uplifting and emotive words. I'm with Jackie here is saying ..... hang on in there!

This should be a poster seen world-wide, Miss June. It's moving and wondrous. What is the origin of the quote, or is it original? I've not heard it before. Wonderful piece!

I have no idea where I found the quote but it has stuck with me. I first used it as an altered book page quite a few years ago.
