SoArtful Saturday Challenge..

Jeanette at SoArtful gave us this lovely image of three girls and suggested we could put them in a different setting.
I thought they could do with a night on the town so what better company than three sailors, faces I'm sure you'll recognise!

Hi, June. This is absolutely adorable. Perfect! I hope things are going better for you and Freddie. Sounds like it's been a really rough time...I think about you often.
Hugs,
Sherry

Hi June, I popped over to your blog after seeing your beautiful collage piece on Dezinaworld and had to follow when I saw all your stunning work.
I wish you and your family the best in what sound like troubled times and hope things improve soon for Freddie.

Clever! And I bet those sailors have no idea what they are getting themselves into!

Super idea, June! I can never remember the third sailor and I don't think he ever made another film. Gene Kelly and Ole Blue Eyes and...?

Thank you for your comments!
Yes the sailors are Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra and the third is Jules Munshin, in the 1949 musical 'On the Town'.

That's a very fun picture! Gotta dance! Wrong movie, but that's how it makes me feel.

Yes, I remember the movie which I think was called "On the Town" - and they are singing the famous song New York, New York it's a helluva town, the Bronx is up and the Battery's down. How is that for my long term memory. Much better than my short term one I'm afraid.
This is a great take on the challenge, June. Beautiful work as always.
