This is now an award free blog.! Thank you all.xx

This is me!
I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I have two wonderful children and their better halves! Two grandchildren, ditto, and three beautiful great grandchildren.
I am very disabled and spend most of my time in a wheelchair in front of this computer. I'd fade away without it. It's my contact with my friends and the great world wide web!
I am surrounded with most of my family who are very supportive, caring and loving. I am indeed blessed.
I found another photo of the Opera singer Ganna Walska and made this musical collage.

On further investigation, I discovered that her 4th husband, Industrialist Harold McCormick promoted her opera career, which in turn, inspired aspects of the screenplay for Citizen Kane! While married to him, she invested her own money and purchased the Theatre des Champs-Elysees in 1922 but said she would never appear there until she had gained recognition based solely on her merits as an artiste.......
Thank you for that dear Freddie. You still amaze me with everything you know or find out. I shouldn't be surprised after all these years. Hugs right back. xx
