Just to show you I can still be in a romantic mood!
The lovely background with the lace edge and all the elements
came from another Jean Dougherty kit.
Her family will be closing her shop very soon and then her
gorgeous kits will be no longer available.

Lovely! The lace border is beautiful and reminds me of my mother.

My sweet friend, I have missed you SO much. And you changed your profile photo...I almost didn't recognize you!!! Anyhow, I'm really hoping that I can get back to blogging a little more.

This is a beautiful collage...as are all of your creations!!!

You mean lace is a sign of romance? Wow. I thought it was for adding to your clothes when your skirt was too short. Oh oh. I guess that shows my age. There's no such thing as a skirt too short nowadays.

Very elegant, June. I love the lace. Bill's remark made me think of the beautiful lacy dress that was used in our family for my niece's wedding, another niece's prom, and finally for my (taller) daughter's prom. I had to add matching lace at the bottom for it to be prom gown length. It pulled loose before she got off the porch. I have a photo of me sewing back the lace as she stands there in her lacy dress. Her escort is looking a bit disconcerted.
