Whispering Hope..etc....

Whispering Hope is a very old song I used to sing with my mother and it was a great favourite of hers. So this is another collage I designed 'just for me'. LOL! Mostly 'found' images on Google.

It is a lovely morning here. Big blue sky after a bit of rain in the night.
I was woken up with a bit of arrythmia but after a cocktail of pills it settled down, thankfully.
I've been to Chapel this morning, doing my taxi service. After I took them home I went to see a very dear old friend who has just lost her husband. I've spoken to her several times on the phone but this was my first visit. I'm not sure how she's going to manage with no near family but several friends have been calling. So sad after a long, long life together..........

Here's another collage I made yesterday. I called it 'Puppet on a string', as that is what came to my mind when I saw her finished.

I hope dear friends you are having a great day.

Love and Hugs

The top one sparkles and the blue is just beautiful! I've never heard the song, but I love the title of it. The second one has a perfect pose for a puppet. The red just pops out. Great work!

Lovely creations June.
Your poor friend will probably do fine with friends like you that keep in touch. You can't always depend on relatives even if they lived next door. But, you can depend on your friends.
Love,
Chris

Oh my goodness! Both pieces are so beautiful June. I truly love your work.

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. Sometimes I look at my husband and the thought crosses my mind that one day one of us will leave first and then I quickly brush it away as it seems too much to bear. After so many years together you grow quite attached to your mate.

Your artwork is so beautiful again, June, I often pop over to have a look at your pieces. But it's not only your art that makes my heart move, your comments are always touching and inspiring at the same time! Hope you are fine! Greets, Manu
