Digitalmania Challenge..

I take part in a few challenges over at Flickr. One of my favourites is Digitalmania. Started up by Marie of the Three Muses team it is a fun challenge.
This week we are asked to make a Zetti type image depicting a song or song title. I don't know if you are old enough to remember these two old songs but these are my efforts.

January can be a depressing month for lots of people. The Christmas festivities seem so long ago, the days are often dark, wet and short and quite miserable when we don't see the sun for days. I have a very dear friend who is feeling just like that. It's not usual for her to be this way. She is usually cheering me up! But she's got family problems going on as well, which adds to the worry.

I'm glad we have Spring to look forward to! Coming home the other day I see I have snowdrops out in the garden and I shall soon see crocus and miniature daffodils poking their heads out!
And best of all we have the blessing of friends. What would we do without them?

'So long as we are loved by others I should say that we are almost indispensable; and no man is useless while he has a friend.'
Robert Louis Stevenson.

'A friend is a person with whom I may be sincere. Before him I may think aloud.'
Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Thank you all for being my friends.
Hugs

June, your cheerful artwork has done wonders for my dismal January day! Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your kind comment. Did you receive your own card? I mailed one to you, and thank you for sending me a Christmas card! I am trying to make time to get back to my artwork, right now it's pretty tough. But no point in complaining, I count my blessings and keep trying!

Big hugs to you and Freddie!
