This is my collage for the Three Muses Challenge this week.
The 1920's.
Those were the days of the Charleston, flappers, cropped hair,
short skirts, gin bars and Al Capone.
But there was also mass unemployment, the Great Depression
and hardship for many.
I tried to make my collage depict this.
Thanks for looking.xx

so true June, we sometimes only see the "beautiful things" - love your collage
You are so right, June, whilst some where having the time of their lives the majority where living a 'real' life and you have depicted this very well. Fabulous.
Beautiful thoughtful work June...excellent!!!
What a thoughtful entry, June! You did a great job of depicting the up side and down side of the roaring 20s. Good work!
Excellent portrayal of the two sides of the 20's. You either drank enough moonshine until you didn't care, or you didn't have any money for moonshine and suffered through each night. Like I really know what I'm talking about. I wasn't born until 1951!
Great social commentary!!! The largeness of the face center background is so dynamic, its mod so melancholy, it sets the tone. Then you flanked her with your two opposites. Brilliant!!
