Take a Word Challenge.. Song..

Can I sleep in your arms tonight, Mister?
It's so cold lying here all alone.
And I need someone's arms to hold me.....
Till I'm strong enough to make it on my own.

One of the old Country songs I used to sing, in another lifetime, it seems.
Sung to the tune of Red River Vally.
I chose this song for the Take a Word Challenge at Three Muses.
Thank you for looking. xx

I knew you were a wild woman! I bet you wrote those words yourself. The colors you chose make a beautiful collage. :^)

Some of those old songs told such sad stories, didn't they? This is a beautiful illustration, June!
