Her Favourite Place...
How I love books! I didn't have the chance of any further
education when I was young, almost 60 years ago, so almost everything
I've learned comes from Life and reading books!
What would we do without them?
A lovely Challenge this week from Three Muses.

Waouuuuuuuuuuu it's wonderful !! Love this beautiful place for reading.
Bravo
Hi June I love your gorgeous "book" picture it's is so wonderfully Victorian...I adore that era.
I have been doing all my artwork on a Photoshop Elements 5.0 (editor)that's what it says at the top of the screen...it's like I said I got the program disc free with my scanner purchase. I have looked at Photoshop instruction books and this doesn't have as many buttons.
The layers and effects I have just worked out myself through experimenting. I would be happy to tell you how I put something together...if you're interested.
Thanks for all your kind comments. Have a wonderful and blessed New Year!!!
I'm always interested in how to do things my dear as I am completely self taught. My son gave me Photoshop Elements 5.0 last November so that's what I've been playing with for a year. There's so much I still don't know so it's often a case of 'try it and see if you like it' with me!
Thank you so much for your encouragement! Hugs xx
June, this is beautiful, as are the other pieces you just posted. I wish I could take the place of this lady who is reading so deeply and intensely...
I too use Photoshop Elements 5.0, so I'm glad some of you do too. Trial and error is a wonderful thing!:) June, it's hard to believe you've only been using it for a year! I look forward to seeing your work every day.
I love books - stick me in a bookshop and I'll be happy for hours! Lovely creation June.
Gorgeous vintage piece, June!
I would love to be sitting in that room. I wish I could retire and work in a book shop. Well, a coffee shop would do, too, if we could talk about books over coffee. :^)
That room I could live in. What a great room and what a great picture you created. The whole atmosphere is so beautiful. Wonderful.
Beautiful and makes me longing for this room.
What a beautiful inviting scene, June. It looks s if we ALL want to move in. I think bloggers share a love of books. Your work, as always, is top drawer! Marie has gently reminded me I posted a day early. I have to attribute it to house guests and holidays!!
Another of your amazing creations, June, love it!
June, you speak for all of us when you underline the importance of reading and learning about life and its mysteries from treasured books. Your collage is so beautiful and meaningful. Whether you know it or not, you really do have an artist's eye for a most beautiful design. Fantastic.
Wonderful scene, love your creations.
Wonderful collage, how I'd love to sit in a room like that surrounded like books.
