This is me!
I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I have two wonderful children and their better halves! Two grandchildren, ditto, and three beautiful great grandchildren.
I am very disabled and spend most of my time in a wheelchair in front of this computer. I'd fade away without it. It's my contact with my friends and the great world wide web!
I am surrounded with most of my family who are very supportive, caring and loving. I am indeed blessed.
This is just heartbreaking it reminds me of a small card my grandma had framed on the wall over her sewing machine...it said "I cried because I had no shoes, until I saw a man with no feet". Thank you June for reminding me to be grateful for what I have...and to share with others...you are a dear lady.
A sobering pause for thought to be sure. Just today my daughter told me she had paid over $200 or 150 pounds sterling for a pair of running shoes for her 12 year old daughter. The bottle flip flops are touching. Beautiful and thoughtful artwork, June.
I zoomed in and saw the flip-flops were flattened plastic bottles! June you have given everyone 'food for thought' as they say. A very poignant reminder of how the other half lives - well done! You have a lovely day, too, hope you have got over your fall. How's little Algie?
My old Mum used to say : Poverty is the Mother of Invention. He will probably never own the 'runners' but perhaps he still has something the runner wearer will never have.

Creative and touching collage, June.
It makes us think about differences between people in different living possibilities. Great artwork.

Wow. That gives recycling a whole new meaning. Although sad, it shows how ingenious people can be.
My goodness, June what a telling and poignant statement on the emormous gap between the "haves" and "have-nots."
Poignant and so clever dear June.
(I WANT TO HUG YOU)
