Whenever I hear 'Africa' my first thoughts are always 'the children'.
Three Muses gave us the theme of Africa for the challenge this
week and here is my simple collage.
Thank you so much for your comments.
The news about Freddie this morning is that he's had half his
foot amputated yesterday afternoon.
The operation went well and he's fine.
I shall see him tomorrow night.
Love and hugs

Your image of the child is perfect, June, such a sad face and the background is stunningly beautiful!
All the best to Freddie, do hope he recovers well.
I am sorry about Freddie, my friend.I wish you two all the very best.
Mother Africa is a continent of beauty and contradictions. It has been so much exploited. I feel for the children and women. They are the ones who suffer more. Many have been mutilated by the hidden mines in Angola, many die of hunger every single day but we - from underdeveloped countries - are doomed to live a life we haven't conceived.Maybe it is our dharma.I love your work and your concern about the children.Have a magical day, my friend!
A perfect stunner, June, beautifully interpreted.
Sorry to hear about Freddie, and hope he is on the way to recovery now.
A thoughtful and touching piece, June. Beautiful in its simplicity.
