The challenge tomorrow on Take a Word is Sewing. I used to do such a lot of sewing and dressmaking. I loved it. I made my own wedding dress and then my son's Christening gown which has been worn by many children in the family. I made my daughter's wedding dress too.
When I found the illustration I used above I had to have it. It reminded me of myself when I first started sewing. I taught myself and started with a small dress for my sister which probably left a lot to be desired. LOL! Happy memories. Looking forward to seeing all the entries!

Yep, you women have always been smarter than us men. We don't follow instructions very well. Sewing a dress sure seems complicated! A wonderful, nostalgic collage!
