Happy Sunday everyone!
We're getting so close to Christmas now. Some people are still pushing and being shoved among the crowds trying to get the rest of their presents bought.
Some have already decorated their house and tree with coloured lights and glass baubles and tinsel.
We are so lucky if we have friends and family around us to share the peace and goodwill.
Unfortunately some will be alone and lonely and some will be sleeping on the streets.
Please spare a thought and a prayer for all those who are cold and hungry.....
I was lucky enough yesterday to go to a marvellous Christmas lunch and show in our village hall.
We have an organisation here that has been going now for 50 years who make this possible every Christmas. There were over 100 older people seated for a lunch of homemade soup, turkey with all the trimmings. prifiteroles with cream and chocolate sauce, followed by tiny bite sized mince pies, coffee and mints!
There were crackers and paper hats with us laughing at the mottoes and sherry and as much wine as you wanted!!
I sat with some very old friends who I knew from my teens so we had plenty of laughs. A wonderfully happy time.
Now I am having a quiet day to get over the excitement of it all.
Lots of love and many blessings
June xxxx

I am so impressed with this piece of art. I know how difficult it is to represent rain.
Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas dinner ahead of time! xx
Yes I can feel the rain falling down. Great work!
I don't like gray days, but your beautiful collage shows how wonderful a rainy day can be.
