3 M. Textures and layers.

The Three Muses  have asked for textures and layers this week.
It's always fun to play with them and I do this a lot.
The picture above is the original I started with that I made last year.
She has several textures in her making.
And below is what she looks like with more texture and
overlays added.

It's surprising what a difference it can make to your picture after having a play.

I think the simplest way for beginners to start is to duplicate your finished picture.
Working with this layer, very slightly reduce the opacity, then scroll through the list
of layers and see the difference it makes.
Select one you like and there you are.

Among all my readers this must be like  telling your grandma to suck eggs
so please forgive me.

Thanks for looking,
Big hugs from
June xx

I have to be honest and say I LOVE the original! The centre one does made a huge difference, though, and I like the fire in that one. The last is more meditative. Very interesting.xx

Oh how good to see your different examples. I am always fascinated to read how the wonderful digital pictures are made. I do like the first and last one best, I think.

June, ich bewundere, wie es Ihnen immer wieder gelingt, durch verschiedene Farbspiele einem Bild so viel Wandelbarkeit zu geben, das ist großartig!
