This first collage is for the Sewing Challenge on Take a Word. I used to love sewing. I learned by making dresses for my little sister until I excelled myself by making my wedding gown, and the tiny bridesmaid's dresses. I made all of my daughter's dresses for years and my own.
I finished up making my Teddy Bears but sewing them all by hand.
All the images were Googled. Background my own.
This is my offering for the Green themed Gothic Arch challenge.
Images Googled. Lady from the Fair Maidens kit by Sherrie D.
Thank you for visitting. xx

Hi June, your images are superb. lovely work. Cheers
I love the idea of a workroom into a sewing machine silhouette!
Great work June!
Beautiful sewing piece, June! Your green arch is also just gorgeous :)
Love your "vintage" look sewing creation!!!
June these are marvellous and a credit to your creativity. Cheers
Both pieces are beautiful, June! I envy your sewing ability- I wasn't very successful at learning. Your Gothic Arch lady looks very mysterious! Great work!
wonderful collages! i like the lady´s eye;)
Lovely, June!
I love the way the sewing room scene spills out of the sewing machine! Very clever. Lovely piece.
The green gothic arch is uniquely done. I like the way you schieved the arch effect!
I love all the details in your sewing room. I too used to sew a lot, don't do it anymore, but have fond memories. I made my own wedding dress too!
What a wonderful sewing collage June so many beautiful elements. Your green piece is fabulous too my dear you amaze and inspire me everyday!!!
Anyone who makes teddy bears has to be a cuddly person at heart! Both of the collages are beautiful to look at.
So lovely!
What a beautiful presentation for the sewing theme, June...Gorgeous!! Love that manequin image!
The sewing theme is absolutely delightful, June! And your arch just blew me away! Awesome work on both!
Both pictures are gorgeous, June. I love your sewing piece - so creative in its design with a wonderful assortment of sewing essentials. I still have a treadle sewing machine handed down through the generations. One of these days I am going to find someone to restore it to its former glory. Like you I used to do a lot of sewing but I just stare at the machine now and only use it when I really have to.
beautiful collage!
Oh I love this sewing collage...
These are both lovely June!
