These are photos I took yesterday morning of the high tide we had, covering the marsh and road along the quay. Cars are usually parked near the Bank but here you see the water going right up to it, with people standing there watching.
In the top and bottom picture you can see on the far horizon the waves crashing on the beach.
To see this sight with the millions of gallons of water is awesome and you feel quite puny against it's
might. I could hardly keep my feet in the wind and you can see my shadow
in the third picture.
All along the East coast there were watchers afraid of flooding.
