My grandson and family have lost their little white and black cat,
Malkie.
He was missing 5 days and Richard found him last night, he'd dragged
himself almost home. Rushed up to the vets where he stayed overnight.
Apparently cats are prone to blood clots in the brain and they lose the
use of their back legs. Almost like a stroke in humans.
He was almost 11 so a sad time for them.
And last week my sister lost her little Sugar, a pretty West Highland.
We all love our fur babies so, it's hard to say Goodbye.

June, I lost my little dog buzzy a year ago (he looked a lot like Algie). A friend sent me this poem & it meant a lot to me. Maybe you can pass it on to those who are sad now.

It's such a happy picture, but it's so sad to read about the family pets. We had a West Highland, but she was allergic to fleas. I didn't know dogs could be allergic to fleas. Unfortunately, she had a short life. It's definitely difficult to lose our little friends.
