Cindy is having a link party this weekend over at I owe it all to Him
and has asked us to post our favourite Bible verse.
There are two verses here actually but how can you choose a favourite?
There are so many favourites and each may have a special significance to you.
Bless you Cindy for all the support you bring to others. xx

Oh June,
This verse is so inspirational and the picture tells the story so beautifully! I love the stained glass. This is a verse that I think everyone knows and it is so wonderful to be able to see it as part of a picture so it is etched in our minds and hearts. Thank you so much for making this beautiful piece...everyone who sees it will be blessed, indeed!
Hugs and blessings,
Cindy
Beautiful verses Junie! Like the way you showcased them!
June, that scripture is one we all need to take to heart in this affluent time. I've really gotten past the craze to accumulate since I'm at an advanced age, but I do see it all around me.
Your art, as usual, is so gorgeous.
PS. I guess I have second thoughts about my comment. I just remembered how cluttered with art materials my art room is. And also, for some suffering hard times, this is not an affluent time. I meant to use that as a comparison with other times in history when we didn't have all the appliances and conveniences we do now.
I know just what you mean Faye.
And I am so guilty of accumulating clutter when I shouldn't put so much store on just 'things', Sigh.
Hi June,
I just saw your post about making the Bible markers for the Bible class...that will be so fun for everyone!!!
Hugs,
Cindy

I love these verses and they do tie in with what I have been thinking about this week too!
Hello June, I love this scripture also and the picture is lovely. I am a stain glass lover also.
Often we caste our cares on the Lord then pick them up and load ourselves down again with them. It's not easy to have the faith to understand, He is in control.
I believe here right now that you have come to the place of honestly saying,
"I can't anymore...Lord please take my load."
If you could hear His voice....
You would hear Him say...
"My child, you are so special to me, I love you, you are the apple of my eye. All your tears are stored in a bottle, I have kept everyone. From today, please look forward and not back, leave the past behind. I am with you, hold my hand."
Praise God June...you are so speacial to Him. xxx
Amen! Too many people spend their lives trying to gain material things, yet their possessions can never make them happy.
