Three Muses Challenge..Windows/Doors..

Can you see me?

It's Wednesday so it's time for the Three Muses Challenge. This week they've asked for Windows and either/or Doors. I've chosen a window I've had in my stash for ages from an old castle.
I think old castles must be full of memories and ghosts from long past times. Lots of people have lived there, loved there, died there.....
Anyway, that's the feeling I had when I created this collage. You all recognise the lady of course and I thought the lacy overlay around the edge gave the feeling of cobwebs.

I am very fond of this collage I made the other day. perhaps because the quote 

stirred something inside me....

The youngest of the family had a camping holiday last week and the weather was perfect.

A wonderful time was had by all.

The Butterfly Princess

I am gradually getting back to something like normal since the crash but I've lost a few recent kits I've bought. Well you can't keep a good man (or woman) down so upwards and onwards.

The Take a Word Challenge this week is Butterflies with a gorgeous sample picture by my friend Chris Arlington. So here is my collage. The background is on of my own manipulations, the frame and butterflies were on my external HD! The castle and lady were Googled.

The Poser..

If and when he's quiet he'll sit and pose for the camera. Otherwise all I get is his tail end going out of the picture. He loves the garden and at the top you can see him in action! Bit blurry but lucky shot.
My grandson Richard has just been down with a newspaper for Freddie and Algie has enjoyed the play with him in the garden
Richard and family are just back from a little camping holiday and Boyo! were they lucky with the weather! The children are coming tomorrow to  visit.

FLY AWAY..

The title is quite appropriate today as I've had a major computer crash and everything just flew away!!

Don't ask me.......!       I have been upset and very frustrated.

Anyway I spent all day yesterday trying to get my computer back. With much difficulty I got it back to the day it first came into the house with of course, nothing in it.

So I had to search for cd roms to upload programmes back in etc. I have lost everything I had been working on, several folders and a few kits and lots of pictures.

Fortunately I have an external HD and a lot of my pictures I can retrieve from Flickr etc. but it's quite heartbreaking. I still have a long way to go but I'll get there.

So you might not hear much from me for a while so have a great weekend,

3 M..Steampunk Makeover..

This is a very dear friend, Martin, who doesn't look a bit like this, believe me. He has already seen it and didn't mind a bit! Perhaps he was just being polite! LOL!
This is my collage for the Three Muses challenge this week..A Steampunk Makeover. I could have used a 'celebrity' but Martin has enough personality and more to be my celebrity!
