The Tiny House..

Richard has manfully erected the Tiny House with a little help
from FIL Tony.
Ashton was so eager to get in, he asked if it was going to have a roof!
Of course the roof and felting came last.
Skyela likes the door open, as above....but I'm told
Ashton likes it closed when he's inside.
I hope it will give them years of pleasure as a hide away.

Dezinaworld..

I feel like the proverbial horse's tail this morning...all behind!
I've just come home from Chapel and my taxi round and I guess
I'll catch up with myself pretty soon.

Here are a couple of collages I've designed  for June at Dezinaworld.
They both have women images from her Mono3 sheet.
The background of both come from June, the old fashioned advert
sheet comes courtesy of Astrid and the
flowers and brushes from my stash.

It's wet and cold here today. Looks like November!
What pecuilar weather we have.
Have a nice day everyone, whatever your weather.
Hugs

Three Muses..I've been steampunked!

An interesting Challenge this week from the Three Muses. They asked us to take a picture of a famous person and 'steampunk them' a bit! So my first one was made with a portrait of Jules Verne. Here he
looks a bit of a dandy!

This second one I just could not resist when I found his portrait.
I'm not telling who he is but I've given you clues in the picture.
Can you guess? Should be easy-peasy!
Thank you for looking. xx

Corben's Dream..

Once upon a time, there was a dear little boy called Corben.
His Mummy put him to bed that night and Corben had a Dream!
Yes, even babies have dreams!
A beautiful mermaid came to visit him, took his hand and carried him away to her magical land beneath the sea.
She gave him a small pair of goggles so the bubbles wouldn't hurt his eyes. She placed a pretty hat made of shells on his head and he looked all around. He watched the fish swimming around him, the seahorse bobbing along, the  flowers all made from shells and he laughed delightedly.
She showed him the magic pearl that lay in its shell.
After a while, it was time to go home. He took off his goggles and his shell hat and the mermaid lifted him up and in no time he was back in his little bed.
In the morning when his Mummy went to wake him, she wondered why his hair was a little damp. And she wondered even more when she saw on his pillow, just beside his head, a large pearl.........

With many thanks for the lovely picture of Corben
borrowed from his loving Granddad Bill.

A Goddess..

Every Woman has a Goddess within......
This I truly believe. Apologies to our male friends!
But I'm a woman and think as one!
All these images were Googled.

Whooo-hooooo! My Followers are back!
Thank you Blogger!

Yesterday we were invaded! I am mostly barefoot about the house and garden and I opened the back door to step into the porch to go out in the garden. I drew back. I didn't want to put my bare feet there.
There were thousands, even millions of ants and flying ants crawling on the rugs. I couldn't believe it.
We hurriedly sprayed them and I shut the door quickly. Later I had to drag my vacuum out and try to hoover then all up. A big job and especially for me.
I was exhausted and spent the rest of the evening scratching myself and itching all over....Ugghhh! Horrible things. I hope I don't get a repeat of that today.

My visit to the dentist went well. He fitted my new crown and I don't have to go again for 6 months.

Under the Sea..

When I make a digital collage, I sometimes start with a beautiful background....and sometimes I start with the main figure. I usually have some idea in mind of how I want the finished collage to look.
As I work, sometimes it seems to develop a mind of its own and I end up with something completely different to that envisioned.
This one however turned out exactly as I wanted it to and I was pleased with the result.
None of my collages take me more than a couple of hours at the most to complete. Some will only take 20/30 minutes. I know some people work on pictures for a week. That would frustrate me greatly! LOL!
If I can't see any decent progress after half an hour I delete it.

The elements and background here came from a new kit I've just bought, called
UNDER THE SEA  by Pink Lotty.

Thank you for visiting. Have a lovely day.
I'm going to the dentist again.......
Hugs
