This is my 'Masculine' challenge for Take a Word.
Almost all family portraits from this era show the father standing upright and all are stiff and starchy.
I thought this picture found on Google was fabulous, with the father looking so relaxed and sitting on the floor with his children! Just look at the little boy peeking over daddy's shoulder.
Thanks for your visit.
Love and hugs

What an adorable and beautiful collage, June. The father seems to be very proud of his children. A gorgeous background, again.
Have a happy Sunday,

what a wonderful photo! And you've framed it so beautifully too.
A perfect interpretation on this week's 'Masculine' challenge. Bravo.
Great family and great framing June.

You are right on about vintage pictures it's almost impossible to find one that really shows any emotion this is wonderful surrounded by your lovely collage.
You're absolutely right, June. It is rare to find a photo from that era wherein the father looks even a little approachable! This is a sweet and very special photo. Thanks for sharing!!
I'm afraid I disagree with you dear June: Your mind is everything except boring!
(I love you! :)
Absolutely perfect, June! So right about the stiff and starchy, this is a real beauty.
I agree. That's an awesome picture with the father. It looks like he's actually glad (well if we pretend he's smiling) to be a father.
What a beautiful photo. You're so right June. It's a rare shot of a father in such an informal shot for those times. Love the framing too!
Nothing says Masculine like a man with his kids. Wonderfully vintage, I just love it!
