Yesterday I waited and waited all day. Finally Freddie came home by
ambulance at 7.40pm. They usually park right outside the gate but
this time they stayed on the road and he had to walk almost 200 yards home.
He had nothing to eat or drink from lunchtime and looked dreadful.
I think that was totally disgusting and shameful.
Talk about our glorious National Health Service.
Eventually after having food and drink I undressed him and made him
as comfortable as I could.
I broke the sad news about his sister and there was absolutely no reaction at all.
I couldn't believe it. So he has lost all emotion, he is completely flat. So sad.
Anyway, the nurse/carer came at 7am. and got him up, washed and dressed.
I had already done his medication and he'd had a cup of tea and breakfast in bed.
So thank God he's safely home but I think he is very poorly
and my life must change a lot.........

How sad news. I wish you much love and power.
Hi June,
Oh my gosh, I didn't know that Freddie's sister passed away...I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope that Freddie will be doing better...I can't believe he had gone so long without eating...Sending hugs your way and I am praying for both of you.
Love,
Cindy
What a cute collage, June. The little girl is SO cute.
That is dreadful about Freddie having to walk all that way from the ambulence. I am actually totally shocked by that!!!
And I'm so sorry to hear that he seems to be emotionless right now. Hope it's only temporary.
Continuing to pray for you both. May the Lord encourage and strengthen you both.
Love,
Patti
Am so sorry haven't been around but have popped in while I can. The main thing is you have Freddie home and to enjoy one day at a time June. Am thinking of you. We have had some sad news and that is why have not been around or will be for a couple of more days. Take care, Annette x
How could they possibly expect him to walk like that? That is unconscionable! I am so sorry for what you are going through.
I'm sorry things are so difficult for you both right now, I hope your art gives you some relief .
Freddie's home and that's the main thing right now. Give him time to get well and to adjust back to home life again. I am sorry for your loss and thinking of you both.
Sending you hope and strength at this sad time.
Luv Brenda xxxx
Wow - guess I'll never vote for national health care in the USA! How dreadful. BUT Freddie is home now & I'll just bet you see improvement every day. HUGS to both of you.
Oh June!
I bet his lack of reaction was harder on you than telling him!!
My dear friend, I am continuing to pray for you. I know you have quite the journey ahead of you.
Love, Tonya
