Remembrance Sunday is just around the corner once again.
This year has been especially emotive as we have celebrated the
Anniversary of the start of the Great War...100 years ago.
The war to end all wars...so they said.
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
But at the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
We will remember them........
Beautiful tribute June!! I will have mine up for our Veterans Day Tuesday. Hope you are all doing well! Hugs, Linda
A poignant reminder of the War that was supposed to end all Wars and also a tribute to all those who gave their lives then and over the next 100 years. Sad but true(My Dad was a Lighthorseman in the Middle East from 1915-1918).
