3M Challenge...Africa...

I had a very disturbed night for some reason...

Awake at 3am and again at 4.30 so as I was wide awake

I decided to get up and come on here.

This is my picture for the Africa challenge this week on Three Muses.

I loved the look on the face of the child.

All images Googled.

We had a noisy and rather disturbed day yesterday with workmen

putting up scaffolding back and front of the house to remove old

asbestos soffits and replace etc. Algie was better than I thought

 he'd be, unable to go out in his garden.

Hopefully not too much longer....

Yesterday I met our new baby Beau for the first time.
He is 2 weeks old today and has gained just over a pound in weight.
Rebecca looks so well and the baby is just perfect, thank God!
What a joy to hold him, feed him and watch the little expressions
 on his face. To feel his tiny perfect fingers grasp your finger.
I am so thankful.

Take a Word Challenge....Beauty....

In faces.....of loved ones..of friends...from childhood to old age.

Up and Away....Steampunk...

I haven't done anything in the Steampunk genre for a little while

 so I had a play yesterday and did this.

Oh to have a chair you just wind up to take you up and away

 into the fantasy world of Steampunk, where boats fly

 and you find yourself among wheels and cogs 

that seem to make no sense yet they do........

Three Muses...Zetti...

My Zetti piece for the challenge on Three Muses this week.

The Specialist in Norwich is leaving Freddie's eye to get 

better on it's own. It looks like being a long job.

Trying to get him outside and into the wheelchair is one

helluva job. I have his hands on my shoulders or round my neck 

and I walk backwards holding his waist. He has no strength

again in his legs and it is an awful business.

I pray his sight will show a marked improvement soon........

On a more cheerful note, here is Baby Beau 'chillin' after his feed!

TAW..Black/White/and a touch of Red...

Take a Word has 3 words this week. Black, white and Red.

Always a successful formula the touch of red usually makes it pop!

So this is my picture for this challenge.

What with the worry of my husband losing his sight, he was discharged
from the hospital after a week, he still has not regained his sight.
They are hoping the blood will disperse if they leave it alaone
but so far no improvement at all.
He hates it that I have to feed him and do so much......
He has an appointment at the hospital Tuesday so we shall see.........

Meanwhile the great and good news is...Ta da....
Our baby has arrived at last.
A little boy..7lbs.1 oz. called Beau.
I'll post a picture so you can see him.
