Easter Day...

I suddenly felt in a Mona mood today so I've just finished this. I found the coloured photo of an old
Gypsy lady. Waved my magic wand, said Oojie Poojie and Mona appeared!
I hope you like it.
Son One is safely home and rang this morning. I'm going for a meal with Daughter One later.

Dream Catcher..

We've had heavy snow showers again and yesterday and this morning I woke to fine everything covered. The sun came out and it soon melted. Now the sun is shining again but there is a bitter north-east wind out there and I am not venturing out in the cold. I'm afraid this very cold spell doesn't suit me at all. Algie doesn't seem to mind the cold or the snow and is forever popping in and out to the garden.

So I just speak to friends and relations on the phone and spend time here making pictures, for challenges and for my own pleasure.
I think maybe Son One and Daughter Two may be on their way home from France today.
Grandson and family have gone to B'ham to see Becky's Nan.
Daughter One has been out delivering Parish Magazines and Son Two is at work delivering post.
Brother-in-law is recovering well from three cardiac arrests, so much to be thankful for.

3M Challenge..Out of Bounds..

The Out of Bounds technique is so called because the main subject is half in and half out of the frame. I enjoyed this challenge so couldn't resist doing two pieces for Three Muses today.

The Lady in Red at the top is a very well known piece by Gil Elvgren. Background and frame from my stash.

Easter Basket..

 

An Easter basket for you with love xx

 

Everything went well yesterday!

A lovely man came to fit the new shower, all shining and with a chrome shower head.

 No mess at all even though he had to go up in the roof.

The nurse came at a different time so no overlapping.

Then at 2pm. Algie had his bath and haircut and toenails trimmed.

He looks lovely and with all the excitement he had, after tea he was pooped

and slept all evening.

He's a real early riser though. He woke me this morning by giving my face, eyes and nose

a wash at 5.45am. Believe me, you quickly wake up with all that going on!

I'm up and 'doing' and the little beggar goes back to sleep!

TAW Challenge..Umbrella..

enough to have a play with.

Busy day today. The workmen should be coming to fit the new shower,

so mugs of tea or coffee at the ready!

The nurse comes Mondays and Thursdays to dress Freddie's feet.

And Debbie is coming at 1pm. to give Algie his hair cut and bath etc.

So action stations for me tomorrow.....
