How she loved her pets...

She was such a lucky girl to have so many pets but

fancy keeping a giraffe inside the house.

Fortunately there were lots of servants to clean up the mess!

In the next room she kept her tigers and colourful parrots! 

Something Musical for the Three Muses

Here is my piece for the Something Musical Challenge.

I can always work with a music theme, I was brought up with music,

all my family played something, either accordions or pianos and

both my children were taught piano.

I have no room for instruments now but I bought a beautiful 

shiny black baby grand that

lives with Sally so I can play when I want to!

I always thought it would be lovely to play a Spanish guitar.

The Gypsy..

Such a dreadful dull and wet day again.

So I had a play with layers. The woman is a vintage pic I found on Google

 and the same with the background. Then they were altered and layered

 and I was quite pleased with how it turned out.

I saw an online tutorial for a similar effect but I am useless at

following them!  After two steps I've lost it.

So I just followed my nose for a similar effect.

Fairy playtime..

Having a look round my files I found this old

photo of me and my dad.

Nothing else to do so had a little play with it.

Perhaps I should call it Fool's Friday.......
I still believe in fairies!! LOL!

Collaboration...

These two pictures are made with backgrounds by a very dear 

friend of mine. And I attempted to make two very different looks.

I was awake at 4am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep.

It looks dry at the moment but we have strong winds forecast..(again)!

I am still feeling under par and haven't left the house for what seems an age.

Sewing lesson..

I love these little dollies and wondered if they'd like a sewing lesson!

Freddie's foot is progressing nicely so 'they' say but he still 

mustn't walk on it so God only knows when he'll be home.
