Three Muses...Music..

Well after a lot of sweat and tears I found a copy of my Music Collage. Dreadfully hard to get it here as my mouse has now decided to not right click. I've ordered a new one which should make things a bit easier. So sorry it's late but here it is.

Blossoms..

 

Yesterday I actually stumbled about in the front garden with

my camera to take some photographs of the blossom.

The background in the collage above is my Viburnam Tinus.

 



 

 

And the background of this one is my Apple Blossom

which is actually white.

I called this collage

'Play Misty for me',

 

I must admit I felt some sense of achievement just doing that little thing.

Stone Angels....there's something about them...an air of mystery in the dark...
smooth, cold marble... old and covered with years of lichen...
perhaps a nose chipped off...

Do a Happy Dance!

 

The Dance of the Flamingos

 

Why not do a happy dance? The sun is shining and we all

have so much to be thankful for.

I could probably manage a stately sway if someone held me tight! LOL!

 

I managed to give Algie a long overdue bath while I was in the

shower. What with drying and dressing myself, then drying him

with towels and hairdryer, I was quite exhausted. He didn't really mind!

Birdie Darling..

Having a play this morning and I was half way through this when the chap called to test all the electrics in the house. I had to switch everything off and he was here an hour, making a thoroughly good job.  I must admit to being anxious however with the mains being switched off, then on, then off etc. Everything was fine when I finally got back to work.

The last Bank Holiday before August I think. If the weather stays like this it'll be grand for the holidaymakers. My cousin and his partner are making it a long weekend in their caravan. Granddaughter Rebecca and her partner are off somewhere in their caravan. I've no doubt Son One will be planning to go somewhere or other. I might just make it to Chapel where they have a Cafe, beautiful cakes and coffee and a chat. I'll let you know!

Fantasy Land..

Just been having a lovely play with new kits from Itkupilli. Full of gorgeous detail, old portraits,
animals and fantasy!

Wall to wall sunshine yet again which is cheering to the soul after all the gray days of winter.
But.....(there's always a 'but'! Never satisfied!) I do wish the wind was not so cold!!

I did a 20 mile round trip this morning to the hairdressers, only to find her closed. I'm more shaggy than an Old English sheepdog! Never mind, I gave the car a run!
Bank Holiday weekend coming up again, there'll be plenty of visitors about.

I had to do a couple. The second one has a comment my mother always used to say.
