Digital Whispers Blog Challenge..

Kimmie gave us the picture of the little girl walking in a field to Wonderland.

My little girl has sprouted wings 'cos she's in a Wonderland of
Crystals and pretty magic things.

The Spanish Shawl..

* * * * * * * * *

A different Carer this morning but just as nice.
I have put on the slowcooker and it smells lovely in the house.
Freddie seemed quite settled so I left him for an hour to go to Chapel.
It was lovely to just get out and see old friends.
I had left all the makings for instant coffee and he had made one,
so I thought that was a good sign.
We have the Community Nurse coming this afternoon so Corey will be
banished again and he hates it! Sally will also come and clean the house
so I am going to try and relax.
But first the groceries will be delivered  and have to be put away.......
I think I am getting into some sort of routine.......

We are sailing.....

I found this gorgeous photo of a family of Victorian children posed in
a pretend boat in a studio.
So I've given them a bit of a fantasy background for their
great adventure.

Christmas Children by Dezinaworld

June at Dezinaworld has a super new sheet of Christmas Children
These are  cards I did for her. The cards almost make themselves,
they are such nice vintage images.
Do go and take a look.

Three Muses Challenge..Showtime..

This is my picture for the Three Muses Challenge this week.
Showtime.
A bit different from my usual, I've gone for some vibrant colour.
Thank you for looking.

I'm shy..

Yesterday I waited and waited all day. Finally Freddie came home by
ambulance at 7.40pm. They usually park right outside the gate but
this time they stayed on the road and he had to walk almost 200 yards home.
He had nothing to eat or drink from lunchtime and looked dreadful.
I think that was totally disgusting and shameful.
Talk about our glorious National Health Service.

Eventually after having food and  drink I undressed him and made him
as comfortable as I could.
I broke the sad news about his sister and there was absolutely no reaction at all.
I couldn't believe it. So he has lost all emotion, he is completely flat. So sad.

Anyway, the nurse/carer came at 7am. and got him up, washed and dressed.
I had already done his medication and he'd had a cup of tea and breakfast in bed.

So thank God he's safely home but I think he is very poorly
and my life must change a lot.........

The Aussie Soldier..

Just for Marie....Yes, you did see an Aussie soldier. I found this picture
a long time ago. A WW1 soldier, so young, so handsome, nobody seemed to know his name
and he intrigued me.
So I made these two collages at the time.
