A Birthday..

Today is dear husband's birthday! He has caught me up again. As I am 2 months older we always had this joke that I married a Toyboy! Bless his heart, these days it's more like a Sugar daddy without much Sugar!! Some of the family came to see him last night and dear grandson called in this morning very early on his way to work.

I still can't believe how many of you call in and leave me some wonderful messages. It is so lovely to have you visit and I feel as though I really know you all!

It feels very Autumnal here now, the weather has changed completely almost overnight. The children have not gone back to school yet and our village is still crowded with many visitors staying in holiday cottages. We went along the coast to the next town yesterday to do some bank business, (we have no bank here) and the traffic on the  roads is horrendous. Why some people feel the need to speed on our narrow, twisty country roads is beyond me. Yesterday I met a car on a sharp bend speeding and right over the central line. It was a good job I know the road and was well over to my side else there could have been serious consequences....

Happy Birthday to your husband! August is a nice birthday month (my daughter was born then).

Isn't it nice to have the cooler weather of Fall? We have had 65 degree days here recently, too, and it's a nice change of pace. And as for tourists, our last big weekend just came and went. The town is quiet now for awhile and the drivers took their bad habits back to the 'big' cities with them. They are scary, aren't they?

Have a wonderful day...Jan

Grace is a beauty. Glad that there was not a wreck on the road. I have to check and see where you live.
Smiles,
Kim
