Thank you dearest Patti. This award originated in Germany and means Beloved Blog. A wonderful word! I too have so many beloved blogs that I love and follow but time catches up with me and I cannot name them all. So I accept this award with thanks and grace but I think now I must say.. This is now an award free blog.! Thank you all.xx
I cordially invite you to see my pictures on Flickr. Just.click the rose in the box.

This is me!
I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I have two wonderful children and their better halves! Two grandchildren, ditto, and three beautiful great grandchildren.
I am very disabled and spend most of my time in a wheelchair in front of this computer. I'd fade away without it. It's my contact with my friends and the great world wide web!
I am surrounded with most of my family who are very supportive, caring and loving. I am indeed blessed.
Another marvelous piece, June! I love the warm, old-world charm of this! I enjoyed geography as a school kid. I had a big map of the world tacked up on my bedroom wall, over a lovely old table I used as a desk. This art makes me nostalgic! (I bought an old spinning globe in a thrift shop this summer, to replace the long-gone childhood one I didn't know I missed!)
She's definitely more beautiful lightened up, June. The art work is so gorgeous. You do amazing work. today, I completely redid my art room and didn't do any art (yet). I moved the shelves and one of the two desks. I completely redid how I was storing stuff. I have worked 5 or 6 hours on this. I am pooped.
Very clever, June. I like what you created and have to agree that she is studying the globe for a specific country or place per her book. You are always so quick and do such a great job.

Beautiful job June...love the wonderful old world background.
Beautiful use of the image June- the background adds so much to the depth and meaning of the original. Lovely work!
