This is me!
I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I have two wonderful children and their better halves! Two grandchildren, ditto, and three beautiful great grandchildren.
I am very disabled and spend most of my time in a wheelchair in front of this computer. I'd fade away without it. It's my contact with my friends and the great world wide web!
I am surrounded with most of my family who are very supportive, caring and loving. I am indeed blessed.
Oh now, this is a superb collage June and is such a wonderful display of Victoriana with the children occupied with having their photograph taken whilst the toys are left behind and forgotten. I love the newsprint layering and the overpainting. Brilliant.
I love the Victorian photos of children. They look so prim and proper, but you wonder if they were not the same as the children of today. This is a lovely collage ~ I love the spot of color at the top!
You've created such a beautiful scene, June. Your blending is marvelous. Thank you so much for joining in the challenge this week, in the midst of your family worries. I hope all goes well.
I am very late with my comments this week. The husband (I call him the Looming Presence) is in the same boat as your husband. He is now entering his fourth week in hospital. He had to have his foot opened up and explored so walking on it is not an option until it heals. I hope your husband is improving in health. No doubt the antibiotics are doing their job. June, your Victorian piece is exquisite. Absolutely superb and I love it. Cheers from Marie.

This is beautiful. I SO love Victorian children. And the faces of the doll and teddy bear are so sweet as they look longingly out the window.
You did a beautiful job with this one.
Love,
Patti
