Found on a piece of paper in a tattered old book I found.
We don't appreciate what we've got until we lose it,
but we also don't appreciate what we've been missing
until it arrives.
Well I've been missing sleeping in my own bed as I've slept in a reclining chair for more years than I care to remember. I've often said to my husband 'I shall die in this ***** chair!'
Well I don't intend to! I have taken the bull by the horns so to speak and ordered a new bed and it should arrive next week. I am hoping this will be an answer to a prayer.
An awful lot of money but it adjusts to all sorts of positions, and has five different massage programmes, again all at different speeds. It can soothe your aching body to sleep and switch itself off. Both sides work independantly so my husband can also get the benefit.
I shall miss the look of my old bed, which is brass with rose painted white ceramic knobs that I really fell in love with.....sigh....but needs must.
Watch this space!

This is a gorgeous piece, as usual, June. About the bed, I have a friend who got one for her husband when he was suffering a number of terrible illnesses. He's gone, but she is still enjoying the adjustable bed. I wish I had one.
Oh June I'm so glad to hear about your new bed. I see ads for those adjustable beds all the time. It's so important to be comfortable and to have a proper night's sleep. Well I imagine you'll be showing us even more amazing collages after your bed comes!
