TAW Challenge..Manuscript..

The challenge on Take a Word this week is an old Manuscript. Mine is a copy of the Caedmon, an old English version of Genesis. It is laid over a medieval piece of music. Apparently they used parchments  more than once, scraping off the work underneath.  I'm sure at that time they were expensive and precious.
The picture is Googled and I hope matches the timeline.
Thank you for looking on this wet and cold Monday morning.
                                                          Love and hugs,
                                                                            June xxx

June, this is mouth-wateringly gorgeous. The manuscript combined with the beautifully coloured image are perfect. (Love how you have added the musical notes effect in the background too).

Wouaouh June!
Your artwork is just awesome, with its transparency effects and opposition between colored image & BG's sepia tones...
Big bravo from me!

Man glaubt, ein Märchenbuch aus längst vergangenen Jahrhunderten vor sich zu haben, das ist großartig, June!

June, the manuscript is gorgeous and looks so old-world. The woman fits the era. I think my image may not be so in sync.

Perfect take on the theme, June, love the burst of colour on the manuscript!
(A very loud and firm NO may help with the play biting as I use the same even now as Monty loves to bite his tail and other parts drawing blood!)
