At last some really good news for my sister Jackie.
She has had a very bad few years, with her own illnesses and ops and watching her husband deteriorating over years with emphesyma, finally having to nurse and do everything for him until he died last year.
She is relocating to a large village on the Norfolk broads, moving from a 3 bedroomed house to a two bedroomed bungalow.
I haven't yet seen it but it sounds wonderful and she is over the moon.
She has two aged little dogs and five tortoises and there will be plenty of room for them.
So........she is in the throes of new carpets, curtains, decorating and all the things involved in moving house.
I am so, so happy for her.
If we can recognize that change and uncertainty are basic principles, we can greet the future and the transformation we are undergoing with the understanding that we do not know enough to be pessimistic. ~ Hazel Henderson
