Peace Within...

Well it's been a hard couple of days. Poor little Algie, even with pain tablets, he was crying and occasionally letting out a scream which frightened the wits out of me. The vet told me it would probably be like that with the hernia job as well. I hate to see him like that.
Yesterday he went back to the vets for a check and everything is healing well so it's just a matter of time, hopefully. He's having another check next Wednesday so by then I  do hope he'll be feeling more his old self.

My sister is back from a holiday in Cyprus with friends in their villa. Apparently having a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful!  I've been to Malta lots of times to stay with my Maltese cousins but I've never been to Cyprus.

Last Thursday I took the service in Chapel and took along my collection of crosses and crucifix.
I didn't realise how many I'd got, starting with a wall cross given to me by our Rector when I was confirmed with my son, way back when. It's hung on my bedroom wall ever since. I took my camera with me but completely forgot to use it. I told you I was cracking up........LOL!

Hoping you all have a wonderful weekend, whatever the weather!

Poor little Algie, June, it must be sad to see him like that, but in a few days he will be up and about and into mischief again!

This is a beautiful piece, June. So peaceful. I'm hoping Algie pulls out of this problem in record time. It's so hard to see our pets suffer, especially knowing they can't really explain what hurts most. Thank goodness you have a good vet to help you. As for your crosses and crucifixes, I do hope you'll get a good picture to show us some day.

Oh gosh, so sorry you had to see Algie in such pains June! That must be so awful... Hope he will recover real soon though! Your collage is another fabulous piece of art and the text goes perfectly with the pondering man... Take care, Ira x

Oh, so sorry about Algie. It's so hard seeing our beloved pets hurting...or our kids for that matter, especially because we are often powerless to make them better.

Ah, you Europeans get to visit all those wonderful Mediterranean countries. I would love to go to Malta or Cyprus...I'm not picky, either one will do.

Have a joyous day.

Love,
Patti

Hi June, I love your piece today, it really evokes peace and tranquility. I am sorry to hear about Algie, I hope he mends really quickly.
Thanks for visiting today, I know what you mean about a hectic life. Mine has been too, but I am away on a winter break now, never done it before, but enjoying some sunshine.
Take care.

Such a potent message! The collage is perfect for it.

I'm sure Algie will be feeling a lot better by the time you read this. Our poor little creatures can't tell us what's wrong, so it's always so difficult to watch them when they are hurting. He should be up and causing mischief soon!

Eine wunderbare Collage, June, die mich aber auch nachdenklich stimmt.
Alles Liebe für Ihren Mann und für Algie.
