Take a Word Challenge..Weddings..

Weddings! A lovely challenge this week on Take a Word! Out of all the many vintage wedding pics I could have chosen, I have picked a Family wedding. My Great Aunt, my grandmother's sister. Although she was not married in white, she had a beautiful bouquet. Her sister Hetty sits at the front right and my Great Grandfather, James Mallett stands at the back right. Sadly I have no pictures of my Mum's or my Grandmother's weddings.
Thank you for looking and have a wonderful week!

Family photos are always so cool! I have seen pictures of brides in the 1930s and 1940s wearing very simple, not white, clothes and I wonder when the traditional long white dress, veil and wreath became an almost never broken rule in the West...

What a lovely wedding photo, June, in a gold frame it deserves! I have no pictures of either my mother's or Grandmother's weddings but like you a Great Aunt's!
