A Blue Dream ....

The Blue Dream

What else could I little call it? All in pretty shades of blue and lilac.
Just playing around as usual.

Yesterday was busy, with two trips down to the Post Office in the rain
and collecting a few bits for Freddie. The afternoon spent in packing a
few more pressies ready for collection.
Just that little effort exhausted me. I feel so tired....

Today I must put in an appearance at the big church Christmas Faire. Then
I must go on to town to sort my Car tax...sigh....
I'm not sure if I can fit in a visit to an old friend as well, we'll see.

At least it's dry this morning, what a blessing! Algie has missed his runs
as it has been so wet and cold, so that has to be fitted in as well.
I bought him a little soft toy, Rudolph and he adores it, tossing it in the
air and chasing it about. The first thing he did was bite off Rudolph's red nose!

Loving thoughts to you all,
June  xxxxx

I wish I could have dreamed a little longer this morning as Monty had me up at 5.40am! Beautiful in blue, June!

Dear June, here I was admiring the beautiful blue digital art and commiserating with your very busy life and then I get to: "the first thing he did was bite off Rudolph's red nose!" and I laughed out loud. Here's why. Years and years ago, about 40 I think, my dh and I went to Bavaria where we bought from a teenager the very first creche and manger figures she'd carved. Later when we got a new labrador retriever pup, one of the first things she did was to bite off Joseph's head. I molded some wood putty for a head. Joseph now stands in the shadows so his misshapen head isn't noticeable.

Hope you got everything done and Rudolph lasts a little longer for Algie! xx
